Private Residential
Nature Home 2
Enugu, Nigeria
A contemporary office building designed for a growing business seeking a workspace that reflects clarity, structure, and long-term thinking. The project set out to move away from generic office design, creating an environment that feels grounded, efficient, and responsive to its climate. What made this project compelling was the balance between performance and identity: delivering a building that works as well as it looks.

The Brief
To develop a multi level mixed use residential prototype that responds to increasing urban density while maintaining comfort, identity, and connection to climate. The project explores how indigenous design principles can be translated into vertical living systems, combining residential, work, and lifestyle spaces within one cohesive environment.
Design Intent
"To create a home that supports life at its highest quality, not just shelter, not just aesthetics, but physical comfort, emotional calm, mental clarity, and daily restoration."
Climate First Living
Spaces are oriented and opened to maximize cross ventilation, daylight, and thermal comfort, reducing dependence on mechanical systems.
Material Truth
Rammed earth and compressed earth blocks are used not as aesthetic statements but as performance materials providing thermal mass, durability, and a grounded sensory experience.
Indoor Outdoor Continuity
Living spaces extend seamlessly into courtyards, gardens, and shaded terraces blurring the boundary between built and natural.
Light as a Material
Filtered daylight enters through skylights, screens, and controlled openings creating a dynamic and calming interior atmosphere throughout the day.
Layered Nature Integration
Greenery is not applied as decoration it is embedded into the architecture framing views, shaping movement, and improving microclimate.
The Experience
The home is quiet. Not silent, but alive. You hear movement of leaves, feel shifts in light experience air as it moves through spaces The materials are warm to the eye and to the touch.
